WELCOME TO CYCLEBAR
When you arrive, our friendly front desk staff will greet you and help you check in. We'll get you set up with cycling shoes and show you to the studio.
CHOOSE YOUR SPOT
Our studio floor plan shows numbered bike positions. Each area offers a unique experience.

SIDE BAR (CYAN)
Bikes 1-8 - Notice the bikes along the left and right sides of the studio? These sidebar positions offer a unique side-angle view of the instructor and are popular with riders who like a bit more personal space while still being part of the pack.
Great for: Riders who want their own space, side-view preference, or accessibility needs
FIRST ROW (ORANGE)
First row - closest to the instructor for maximum energy and motivation
Great for: Competitive riders, those who love high energy and direct interaction
MIDDLE ROW (PURPLE)
Middle row - offers a great view while being part of the action
Great for: Riders wanting balance between energy and comfort
BACK ROW (BLUE)
Back row - provides a comfortable position where you can ease in and follow the class
Great for: First-timers, beginners who prefer watching and learning
First-Timer Tip: We recommend starting in the middle or back rows where you can see other riders and feel comfortable learning the moves. You can always move forward as you gain confidence!

CLIPPING IN & OUT
Clipping in is easy once you know how. Your instructor will help you get started.

CLIPPING IN
- Place the ball of your foot over the pedal
- Press down firmly until you hear a click
- Test by gently pulling up to ensure it's secure

CLIPPING OUT
- Twist your heel outward away from the bike
- Use a quick, firm motion
- You'll hear a click as your shoe releases
Pro Tip: Practice clipping in and out a few times before class starts. Your instructor will be there to help if you need assistance!
GET COMFORTABLE
Your instructor will help you adjust your bike for the perfect fit

Seat Position (Forward/Back)
Move forward or back until your knee is directly over the pedal
Seat Height (Up/Down)
Adjust so your leg has a slight bend at the bottom of the pedal stroke
Handlebar Position (Forward/Back)
Adjust based on your arm length and comfort preference
Handlebar Height (Up/Down)
Start higher for comfort, lower for more intensity
Resistance Knob
Turn right to increase resistance, left to decrease. Push down for emergency stop
Resistance Lever
Alternative way to adjust resistance quickly during your ride
Don't worry! Your instructor will help you dial in the perfect fit before class starts.
RIDING POSITIONS
You'll move between two main positions on the bike. Your instructor will guide you every step of the way.

SEATED FLAT
- 1Soft grip on the center bar
- 2Tall posture with stomach engaged

STANDING
- 1Soft grip on the outer bars
- 2Knees positioned behind resistance knob
- 3Butt positioned over the seat
CELEBRATE YOUR RIDE
You did it! Cool down, stretch, and check your stats
COOL DOWN
Take a few minutes to stretch and let your heart rate return to normal. Your instructor will guide you through a cool-down routine.
CHECK YOUR STATS
View your performance metrics including distance, calories burned, and personal bests. Track your progress ride after ride.
